As many as 32 legislators of Telgu Desam Party in Telangana region have submitted their resignation from Assembly in bid to mount pressure for creation of a separate state.
The legislators met Assembly Secretary Raja Sadaram and submitted their resignations.
The Telangana supporters had on Wednesday continued with road blockades at many places in Hyderabad and across Telangana region of Andhara Pradesh resulting in massive traffic jams.
The striking employees have given a call to observe Secretariat Bandh on Thursday to protest against the arrest of their members.
Meanwhile Congress Ministers and MPs from Telangana met Congress-in-Charge of State Gulam Nabi Azad on Wednesday and have asked the party high command not to further delay the formation of separate state.
